Solstice Sleep vs Jamison Mattress; Customer Wins

Solstice Sleep products purchased Jamison Bedding a few months ago, its no secret, but I had to wait to see the net affect of a great name like Jamison selling out.  After watching these last 2 months, I would phrase the buyout differently than most.  I would say, Solstice Sleep and Jamison Bedding teamed up to whoop some butt!

Solstice Sleep already produces an Awesome entry level Mattress up to a very nice $699 Pillow Top so they have the low end covered for the customer.  This being in the inner spring lineup in the Veridian Collection.  If you are looking for a $299-$699 Mattress, Solstice has you covered nicely with several options at every interval.

Now, what about Jamison Mattresses?  Did Solstice buy Jamison only for the network of dealers or hotel affiliations?  Not quite!  Solstice is one of those companies that have it figured out, you trim the fat and let the gravy rise to the top. (or however that metaphor goes?)  Solstice was able to shift some manufacturing, materials, needs, locations, distribution, acquisition, and all that good stuff and actually LOWERED the price on many of Jamison's Best Selling Mattresses!  That is correct, Solstice will still produce the ever popular Resort Collection from Jamison and at a lower price and NO, quality was NOT compromised.  They will still produce a Latex Line and will add more ALL Latex options for consumers to choose their best comfort.

We are in a time that many of the bedding Manufacturers are going to get better or they are going to get gone.  It is refreshing to know that Jamison Bedding will be stronger than ever going forward with the insights of Solstice Sleep.  It is true when people say, you can always get better.  Sometimes it takes an outsider to come in and make decisions that may not be popular at first, but are for the good of Company and Growth and in the end, the Customer Wins.

Jamison Resort Mattress Collection

It is that time of the year for Jamison Mattress to make some changes in the Mattress Line, the once a year shuffle to spruce up some stale models and introduce new Mattresses.

Jamison Resort Collection:
The Popular lineup of Jamison Ultimate Resort, Savannah, and Sea Island or depending how close you are to a competing dealer, it could be Jamison Supreme Resort, Charleston, and Sea Pines.  Ultimate Resort/Supreme Resort are the same Mattress, Savannah/Charleston are the same, and Sea Island/Sea Pines are the same.  Mattress Manufacturers do this on occasion in case they have 2 local dealers in the same town.  This makes it more fair for local dealers so they are not competing against the same set, I think.  That is another story, but the real reason for this reading is to tell you the exciting things Jamison Bedding has in store and most likely "In Stores" now.

Although the Resort Collection Mattresses are being dropped,  here are a few of the Resort Mattresses that are taking their place and a quick glance on construction.

Jamison Grand Resort/Pinnacle Resort which is a Hybrid bed with Micro Coil technology which is totally different than inner springs so don't get the two confused. The Micro Coils are in the middle of the mattress with a firm base foam and a softer Convoluted foam on top.

Hilton Head/St. Simons is a 12" Mattress with 1 1/2" Convoluted Foam on top with 1" Quilted Fiber, 2 1/4 Super Soft with the 7" Marriott Core used in Fine Hotels.

Newport/Biscayne Euro Pillow Top is Also new to the Resort Collection featuring Micro Coils 1" Super Soft Convoluted Foam and 1" Quilted Fiber and 2 1/4 Pillow Top making the Mattress 14 Inches Thick.

Amelia/Key Largo Resort Sets are 11 Inches Thick with 1" Hypersoft and 1" Silk blend quilted fiber and 2" of 3.7 lb Jgel Memory Foam with the 7" Marriott Core used in many Fine Hotels.

LaJolla/Bal Harbor Euro Pillow Top is 14" thick with 1" Super soft and 1" Hypersoft layers with 2" Soft GL Talalay 21 ILD Latex and Micro Coils.  Just to give you an idea on the Micro Coils---1353 in a queen and 1722 in a king!

Bayside/Lakeside 8" Resort bed has the 7" Marriott Core with 1" Supersoft Comfort layer.

This is a Very Brief look at the New Resort Collection and the components that make up the new Mattress, but for a more comprehensive look at the Mattress, Visit your local Jamison Bedding Dealer and see how Jamison Makes Sleep different.

Jamison "Micro Coil" Hybrid Mattresses

Jamison Bedding may not have lead the way with the Hybrid movement in Mattresses, but they hit a Home Run with the Grand Resort, Newport Resort, and Lajolla Pillow Top Mattresses.

So imagine, mini coils or Micro Coils to be specific, in numbers of 1353 queen and 1722 king working in unison to contour to every curve of your body.  The key word, working in "unison" because there is a drastically decreased amount of Motion Transfer on these mattresses.  When your spouse stumbles to bed 2 hours after you, No more big sighs, because you will stay asleep on this one.

These Micro Coils are sandwiched in the middle of a supportive base foam and a varying degree of comfort foam and even Talalay Latex on the Lajolla to give you the comfort level you deserve.  The Grand Resort is on the firmer supportive side while Newport and Lajolla add layers of comfort, yet are still very supportive under the top comfort layer.  If Jamison had only these 3 sets of Mattresses, I believe everyone could find one that felt good to them, AND that is saying a LOT...

Jamison Mattress Reviews out of these 3 sets have been off the charts from those who gave it an early try.  One Mattress Review on the Jamison Grand Resort Mattress said it may have saved a Marriage because she no longer wakes when her husband comes to bed.

Give the New Jamison Resort Collection a try at your local Jamison bedding store, ask for Grand, Newport, and Lajolla Mattresses.
