Jamison's entry into the cool Gel market came big with the JGel series of mattresses to include the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and the Pacifica mattresses.
The Caribbean Mattress is a memory foam with infused Gel beads throughout the mattress to promote optimal air flow to keep the sleeper cooler and to keep the mattress cleaner.
Jamison Caribbean Mattress Composition:
one piece construction
2 inches of 2.5 pound JGel Visco Foam which just basically means, memory foam that has a firmer feel. The Caribbean is the entry level into the Gel Memory foam beds.
The foam is ventilated and convoluted for maximum comfort.
The premium core consists of 7" Marriott high resiliency foam. This is what contributes more to a mattress lasting longer. The core or the base of the mattress is what provides support for the comfort layer which is on top. If you have a poor support layer, the comfort layer will not last. Support layers can either be foam like the Caribbean Mattress or can be inner-Spring as in other mattresses.
The Jamison Caribbean Mattress comes with a 10 year Non-Prorated warranty which basically means a Full Warranty. Some companies pro-rate their warranties where coverage goes down every year.
